Yay. I can finally officially join this group. 
Picked up "Prince Charlie" over the weekend and have been very busy practicing driving him.(First time driving manual)
Still need to make my launch and shift more gentle and less choppy. Any advice?
Here is a pic of him at the dealership. I will post some more pics after putting the strips and tints on him.

How fun it must be to have your first manual be a turbo!
Driving tip #1: Fasten seat belt.
Driving tip #2: Simultaneously add fuel pressure while releasing clutch pressure.
Driving tip #3: Simultaneously add clutch pressure while releasing fuel pressure.
Driving tip #4: Simultaneously add fuel pressure while releasing clutch pressure.
Driving tip #5: Simultaneously add clutch pressure while releasing fuel pressure.
Driving tip #6: Floor it and hold on.
Pumpkinhead doesn't know this? I'm shocked! The "f" stands for "factory" - or so i'm told

The prima stuff works really good - at least what i've tried of it: Hydro wash, Mystique wash, "slick"... I like all those, especially Mystique wash. It sudses really nicely 
I haven't found a wax to my liking yet though. Everything seems to wash off after 2 washes :(

If you just want the black wheel with silver lip look, you can take a look at rimblade if you haven't already. They have the silver color and will probably look nice on your black wheel. It's a bargain for $55 without paying for a set of rims. I am thinking about a set of the red rimblade for myself.

beauty pageant - that was a good one! after thinking about it, it was true! he shouldn't have had those eyes! they took away from the car itself!

Checking in too - somehow missed this thread (no idea how) - wife has dubbed the Mini "Roscoe" .... so Roscoe was delivered 10/6/11 - 6,000 miles later and still love it - easily the most fun car I've ever owned.
