I'll have to look into that Chevron additive. My best friend's dad rebuilds classic cars and he has treated all of their cars with an additive when the fuel they used turns out to be poor. I use QuickTrip primarily, which is supposed to be Top Tier, but I still get the occasional bad tank of gas. Shell is so expensive in my area that it's hard to justify the cost, usually $.30-.40 more than QT, and I'm not even sure where the closest Chevron is. The Shell station closest to me is so expensive that they don't even have a sign displaying their prices. You have to drive up to the pump to find out the price and it's always exorbitant.
