Ugh, those wheels & side decals are ruining it for me. I expected a different kit too.

8:23 lap time on the ring is Evo/STi/M3/Exige/Golf R territory. It either had some really sticky tires or the engine is producing upwards of 230hp is my guess. For a while, the only new car that's excited me is the BRZ, but this...yes... Let's hope it doesn't hit the $40k price tag.

i, too, have been admiring the BRZ. personally i think its the better choice than the scion/toyota. nav comes standard on all models and you get that neato push to start. i actually considered buying that as my next car instead of another mini, until i went on a drive and several mini owners waved at me. mini for life! this new gp is fantastic i love how they stuck with the same wheels as the previous gp i love them. im assuming this ones interior has been stripped as well. are there any official specs on it yet?

I haven't seen any official specs although it appears that it will likely be two sweater as well.

The side decals are gaudy. The GP logo on the scoop - is that really needed when it's RED?

I didn't like the GP wheels originally but now that I've seen one in person (finally), I get it. I'd keep 'em.

I knew it was coming, I like the look they've chosen. I immediately emailed my dealer yesterday and asked to be put "on the list." If it comes in under $40K, and performs as well as hinted, I'm in.

I really like the CF wing and the 6 pot BBK.

8:23 is not bad at all.

I might install coilovers to go a little lower but yeah, would leave everything else as is. Might look overdone to some but I dig it. It's like a Porsche GT3 RS...looks too race track-ish for the road, but still looks kick *** to me.

That's what is tugging at my brain - not many out there! I'd probably see if I could get another set of the side stripes and scoop decal. Pull those off, store the wheels, and go. Ok maybe an aftermarket exhaust
