While during the first oil change on the 2012 S cabrio, I was moving the coolant tank and a hose clamp was not installed correctly and the coolant sprayed out. Not sure what the type of coolant to put back in. The coolant is blue in color but that could just be colored by MINI. Any suggestions? For any who do the first oil change, check the hose clamps because it makes a mess..

 

Searching several forums, I found that Zerex G 05 appears to be the same or so close that there is no noticeable differenced. Zerex is not as common as Prestone or Peak but with some looking, it is available. Thought I would pass this on because if I needed the info then someone else would as well.....
