You know that moment where you pick a window seat in a restaurant to have a view of your car, or when you walk into your house and glance back to admire her once last time before you close the door. Or stare our your window wanting to drive her........ how many people do this?

I especially love driving the long way round to get out of our town so I can drive down our high street so I can see my clubbies profile reflected in the shop windows....

 

I really like the way my car looks, I do find myself looking at my Mini.

 

I just to sit by a window at a resturant to look at my car not for the "I am going to find you" creepy stare because i want to make sure nobody screws with my car.

 

I make a point to be able to see my car from my table in a restaurant just so I can. lol

I once offered mine candy, told it to get in the back of the van and put the lotion on its skin.

...it did not oblige, and in the end I had to wax it myself.

 

I find myself looking at my car in the garage, in the office or restaurant parking lots. My desktop on my personal PC, laptop and office computer is a picture of Comet. Really I hardly think about it.

 

Thought I was the only weirdo out there, guess not.

The first week I owned it I thought "ok, it's new, it'll wear off"
The second week I still gazed at it with a smile as I walked away after every drive.
Third week in, I still stare.

My neighbors must think I am crazy.

I park in the parking lot outside of my gym.. and run on a outward facing treadmill... and just stare at it while I run...................is that bad?

 

Nothing unusual here. I take one last longing glance back at my baby before walking into my office building each day, and take most of my smoke breaks in that parking lot just to admire my MINI.

I added my stripes when I first got my R53 in Sept. '09 so she hasn't changed much in 18 months, but every time I see her I think "damn that's a sharp looking car!"
