Looking for a good vendor to purchase black/white checkerboard strips for our soon-to-arrive Countryman.

The wife wants dual checkerboard strips running from the front bumper, hood, roof and down the back.

Any suggestions?

Try ebay. morris town and prestige are few dealerships that sales oem parts at competitive prices. You can also email them.

 

I think Aesthetic Creations sells them, but they are only for hardtops. The CM's bonnet is longer and so they would not be long enough. I haven't seen an option for the CM yet so you will have to continue to look around. You could always ask a company to do a custom job though. Lyle at Vinyl Styles is a good option and I think Aesthetic Creations also does custom jobs as well.

 

honestly, I would by them from an aftermarket source and do them yourself. Pretige is a great dealership and all, but when i called about getting racing stripes on the bonnet and boot i was quoted at $500! Ended up just buying the vinyl, centering everything with some painters tape, and installing them myself. Also i was able to run them down the bumper which the dealership probably wouldnt have done.
