I have a sparkling silver MCS 07 i want to add stripes to it but im thinking it wont look as good as it does on other color minis. Suggestions???

 

Black on a sparkling silver would be awesome. I've had the same doubts but with a British Racing Green MCS (2007 also!) with a black roof. I finally settled on a silver viper stripe covering the entire length of the car. I'll post pictures of it when its complete.

The BEST resource I found was "The Official [INSERT YOUR COLOR HERE] Owners Club Thread" which for me had plenty of example different options for stripes with my base color. I had a more difficult time finding a BRG w/ a Black roof AND stripes, seems few do that.

Let us know what you decide to do and if you get stripes post pictures!

 

did you do it yourself or did you go somewhere? i want to know how much would the Mini Dealership charge

 

I really like the black stripes/roof combo on Sparkling Silver

 

i have dark silver and red and black stripes with my black and red wheels it looks amazing. Need to tint my windows and get some JCW red stitching inside because i have the red and black interior trim.

 

Gotta go black and I like theging's idea of an accent color.

 

I ordered some Viper Stripes from Outmotoring (Silver) for my BRG 07 MCS. Was given a rough estimate of 200-250 for installation from a local place that does work for businesses and municipalities (such as emergency vehicles). This was for bumper to bumper installation. I'll probably end up having them do it because of the effort level required for a single person is a bit more than I'm willing to do and knowing my luck I'll put it on and then realize it wasn't straight.

I'd probably just look around for some company that isn't the dealer and ask them and I'm sure they would be happy to do so.

 

My Mini is pure silver, but you get the idea.
