Pricy, but considering its 2250 to get lounge leather (including the sport seat upcharge in that), I'll bet a lot of folks opt for them.

Jeeesh, I could see Maybe $1800.00 option - especially considering seats are already factored into the base price of the car.......But DAMN 3K US dollars! They must be joking.

If they are for a pair that is a fair price but if that is individual I can go with getting them with out the stupid JCW logo on them.

I got the lounge leather because I thought the seat was noticeably more comfortable with them (and the contrasting piping is super cool ), but the $2,000 price tag made it a 3 day decision. But the day I pay $3,000 for seats is the day I will have myself committed. Some may think I should have myself committed for the $2,000 seats!

Many people will not think of it as $3000, they'll say, "Hey, thats only $20 more a month on my 5 year loan!" (I didn't do the math, I admit it.) and go for it.

I asked my girl if she'd be upset if I got racing seats that didn't have *** warmers. She said yes. Do they make heated recaro, etc, seats?

Chas...but just think, when you upgrade the seats you get to upgrade the trim and color line for "free!". I let myself spend more than I probably should have on my interior, but figured that's where I spend a lot of time, so I may as well get it just how I want it.

LOL!
When I got rid of my BMW, my other half cursed it's replacement for not having heated seats. When I came home from ordering the MINI, the cries of "You traded cars AGAIN??" were silenced when I said, "But baby I got heated seats just for you."

Shhh....I haven't broken the news to my wife yet that I didn't get the heated seats. LOL I decided to spend the $$ on the HK instead. I had them in my BMW and never, ever even turned it on, but she used her on the passenger side all the time. I'm think of telling her that the MA messed up and forgot to put them on the order. Better she should be mad at him than me.

I'd guess they passed them to get ready for the GP.

I think you've been able to get them for years at that price aftermarket.

I agree. I would never spend that kind of money on those seats. They kind of look like some retarded Michelin tire.

Sorry but I hate em. They are flat ugly.
