Some People Don't Think Much of Our Sweethearts

I was trying to find out about these MINI Cooper stickers that my dealer was giving away when I ran across these angry folks:

Yeah, they don't even manufacture those Vipers anymore.....and most of the remaining Viper engines were wedged into Dodge pickup trucks....bet they are still angry though

All a Viper was a fantasy for people who couldn't afford to buy a real Cobra.
Notice that Shelby didn't stay at the Petagon very long.

Yes, there are lots of people who don't like MINIs for various reasons, none of which are really very good, mostly based on jealousy and silly biases that seem to surround small cars. Most people I run into who know cars respect MINIs even if it isn't their cup of tea. MINIs are just so good at so many things, while still being a practical daily driver, that it's hard not to give credit where credit is due.

I wish I had a video of the solo day which included 2 MINIs and 1 Viper. The MINIs cleaned his plow while he drug 3 cones thru the finish line. There's gotta be a metaphor in there somewhere.
