Hey All,

I'm looking for some pics where owners have removed the rear boot emblem ("Cooper" or "Cooper S"), then applied stripes, then re-applied the rear boot emblem on top of the stripes.

I have not seen this type of install yet and was wondering what it would look like and if results in any adhesion issues (stripes and/or emblem)?

Any Pics would be really cool!

I did. There are close up pics on the emblems. These are flat black stripes with purple pinstripes on Midnight Black color.

As long as you thoroughly clean the area, you should be alright.

You'll probably need new tape because you'll likely make the old one unusable after removing it.

 

Anyone know where online to buy a replacement rear boot "Cooper S" Emblem?

I got mine from Pelican parts. Good price (compared to dealership) and they shipped very quickly. You can find the part number on RealOEM.

I got mine on eBay UK for like, $6.

If you buy aftermarket stripes, the MINI-specialty stripes vendors will include a replacement badge.

 

Not the Cooper or Cooper S logo but the MINI logo is under the stripes.
