wet okole vs. coverking
wet okole vs. coverking
From the threads that I've read, Wet Okole seems to get the highest recommendations for neoprene seat covers. I'm in the market, and am just wondering if they are really superior to the neoprene covers by coverking (that run about $100 less per front seat set at MossMini.com )? Those who have seen them, what would you say the biggest difference(s) would be?
Thanks,
David
Sorry if this has been asked and sort-of answered before. Doing more searching has brought up several threads I didn't see before...although there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer.
I'm also considering doing just the front seats now, since I'll be installing a car seat base in the back (I'm assuming that the anchor holes would be covered by the rear seat covers). I'm just going with grey and black in the front, so I'm hoping that won't look too strange.
Thanks,
David

I bought the neoprene seat covers (front seats only) from Moss Mini and they've been great! The fit is fantastic. I've not personally seen Wet Okole (other than pics on the internet) but I would definitely recommend the Moss Mini ones (CoverKing).
I have the Moss/Coverking covers and have had them on for about 3 years. They still look as good as new.
Whe Wet Okole are nice but I would say the Coverking are about the same for a much better price

I've heard from one user who has recommended the "spacer mesh" covers that coverking also makes. They are supposed to breathe, which would be welcome...but I wonder how effective they would be if installed over leatherette seats, like I have. Has anyone else tried these?
I've had both brands on my Vettes and they are both very good quality although I' d give a slight edge to the Wet Okole's. I have had the WO's for almost 10 years although I don't drive the car much they still look like the day I received them. Part of the price difference has to be the custom nature of the WO's compared to the off-the-shelf Coverkings. The reason I didn't keep the Coverkings was because I only bought them temporarily until I could install new leathers on my wife's Vette which were in need of replacement. Other than that, they were very nice and good quality. If I were to buy another set and Coverking had the color I liked, I'd go for those.
