Whats your highest ticket ... so far
OK, at the risk of getting this locked, I will relate my best story.
On my BIRTHDAY, I was driving home (80 miles) after spending the day with a a great new GF. I got withing 3 miles of my exit and I saw the alley lights come on from the opposing lanes. I immediately slowed down and waited for the cop to turn around and catch up. When he pulled me over, he asked do you know how fast you were going? Not being completely stupid, I replied that I was not paying attention. He stated that I was 25+ over the posted limit. Reverting to stupidity, I said " I guess it's a good thing I was slowing down for my exit". He was not amused. He asked if I lived in town, since he hadn't seen me before. I replied that it was because I was too fast for them to catch.
$200 ticket. No contest.
