you could maybe set up a poll here with year and color since they go together - the results would be interesting.

I went to a local MINI club road run for the first time, we met in a coffee shop. I introduced myself and someone said is your car chili red? I said "Yeah!" they all laughed.

Of the eight cars there, four were red!

Agree 100 percent. These two colors have been around from the beginning of the R50, and remail available today.

But the BEST color IMHO is Connaught Green.

Along with red and white, maybe blue would be among the most "popular" colors because they've made so many different shades of blue over the years.

Here in Jacksonville we have a high amount of silvers. There is only a handful of whites, reds, and blue. There is no yellows and like 2 greens.

Boy,

I have a Chili Red, but I believe British Racing Green is my #2 favorite!

Yep I see a lot of red and white. Makes me feel like my MINI is a little more unique being Eclipse Gray.

British Racing Green says "British Tradition" to me. It has it's own character. I do not believe that I like Green on any other car.

My two favorites are the Liquid Yellow and of coarse the ever popular British Racing Green especially with the two tone saddle interior. After a lot of searching almost 2 years ago (my search range was 1000 miles) I ended up with a Liquid Yellow MCS. In my search for my MINI, I wanted a highly optioned S with Pano, leather, and sport options and found that a most of the BRG MINI's that were available at that time were not highly optioned. Anyone else noticed this?
