Mood lighting

Sooo.... I have been debating on adding these blue LED lights on the inside of the door pockets. My Cooper is Chili Red and of course my interior lights are that stock amber color. Everyone keeps telling me blue will look dumb because my car is red and I think the amber would well... just to much amber. Can I get some opinions please. I seen this pick somewhere here on this site and I think I looked bad a** thats why I wanted to do it.

EDIT: Here is the link to pic that Im getting my image from.

Personally I think it would look weird with the amber. I have a CR cooper as well, if I could swap out the amber for blue that would be great, but as it is, I think it would look ugly. I don't think the exterior color makes a difference though.

Yeah I think Im gonna go with the blue. it is mood lighting after all and the amber would just like a low budget stock upgrade.

I had blue leds in the footwell lamps and the puddle lamps. Loved it and had many favorable comments.

No, blue is awesome. You can never ever go wrong with blue LEDS

infact.. i outlined my beerpong table in blue LED's

Thats one fix...227 individually wired led's total. i forget out many blue led's are on the maryland eye. anyway this is really off topic lol

but slightly off topic.....

does anyone know how to get the moodlighting to match the amber of the spedo? ive played with it, been through all the colors and am bored with it now. i just want it to match the rest of the car like my 06 did....

I temporarily have it set to blue. Not bad. I like red though.
