replacing my tires, need help
replacing my tires, need help
I would really like some feedback. My Clubbie's runflats are shot and it's time for new rubber. I am NOT interested in Goodyear. I've always had problems with them and the quality is spotty in my case. I guess it's just pure bad luck. When I switched brands, I didn't have any more problems. My tire dealer has Dunlop, BF Goodrich and Continental available. What brand do you all rate the best for lifespan? Also, has anyone had problems with Continental cracking? I've heard from others (most drove light trucks and mid-size cars) that Continental sometimes has a tendency to crack and tiny bits of the tire will flake off! Any truth to that claim?
I replaced my runflats 3000 miles ago with the Yokahama Avid Envigors. They have a good wear rating. I live in Wa st and we get our share of rain here. And they perform well. I ordered through Tire Rack and 3 days later they were on my front porch. No matter what you decide to go with you'll be glad to be rid of your runflats.
