Humm if mini lost by 2 seconds that's pretty damn good. And if it was a plain mcs the jcw prabable would have won. Mini> porsche

Shoulda, coulda, woulda... Bottom line, MINI chose a course custom tailored to their vehicle's strengths and still came up short.

I don't agree with that Kevin. The course was chosen to let each car have advantages and weaknesses. Where one would shine, the other would have it's way later.

I don't think either did bad. No one can judge either car based on a silly race, it was all in fun and I think both manufacturers should be commended for being good sports and having a good time.

It's much like when me and three of my buddies go to the track.. There's a lot of trash talked but we still have respect for each others ability and car choice.

I thought the whole idea was in fun and would have loved to participate, win or lose.... (of course, losing isn't an option...lol)

Don't get me wrong... I'm a fan of MINIs. I just didn't like this marketing stunt. I found the build up to be annoying and the post "race" spin pretty lame.

In my opinion, MINI is a better company than what was demonstrated with this effort.
