Have my '06 Magnum (sorry, not a Hemi!) in for service and the sales guy throws me the key to a '04 Cooper S with 50k on the odometer...yes, I drove it like I stole it and for the brief ten minutes I had it, I had a blast!

Ahhh, have to get the better half a new set of wheels soon but she does not like the Mini (yeah, I know, what's wrong with her)...says it's too small for her and she wants a sedan.

 

tell her the trunk is an optical illusion and that more fits than you might think. I drove my new car home today with 4 tires in the back. (shh, rear seats folded down)

 

Take her down and let her drive one. I'm sure she'll have as much fun as you and will be quite surprised by the room they have inside

Hmmm, I traded in my 06 Dodge Magnum R/T for a 06 JustACooper & I've had absolutely no regrets whatsoever!

 

Hey, I'm a domestic motorhead at heart, and I would NEVER think about going back to pre-MINI days.

 

I feel your pain, but i am lucky I have a hemi Charger that she Abuses ( I mean uses) and I have my 04 Cooper S, plus the kids have there own rides and No one but me drives a stick, funny how they cant figure out after all these years why i always buy a Manual trans,, 08 Hemi Charger sits on the driveway, 04 Cooper S always int he garage

 

Talk her into driving one. She just might change her mind. Everyone I've taken for a ride in my 06 cab have remarked at how large it is inside compared to their impression just looking at it before getting in. I'm 6'1" and 265 lbs and don't even have to put the seat back all the way. Very roomy.
