New "stickers"

The weather has warmed a bit and I had a rocker panel stripe installed that will compliment the "black jack" mirror caps and decal on the sunroof. A wash and a couple coats of wax and it is time for a drive.

Powerflex baby!

I spent 6.5 hours, dropping my sub-frame and replacing my worn out lower control arm bushings! Awesome adventure with excellent results. Now to get those cores back to Way Motor Works. Thanks guys for an excellent product and great communication!

Not to my MINI, but to the "better half's" Justa, "Frau Blau"...

She got an aftermarket XM receiver, and was using the supplied magnetic antenna. The sight of it stuck on the roof was annoying, and she'd have to take it off to run through a car wash. So I got an SMB extension cable (LINKY), and hooked the receiver up to the satellite antenna connector under the passenger seat. The cable is nicely hidden, and the antenna in the shark fin works as well as the magnetic one did.

De-badged her and finally put my black TL rings on. Next, I'm waiting for the weather to warm up and blackout the beltline and gas cap.

Well guys, I have not done much to Tackleberry lately. I have been concentrating on ordering the new stuff from DuelL AG. Here is the list of stuff ordered as of today:

Krone v2.22 front bumper w/ carbon protect
Krone v1.2 rear bumper
Krone side skirts
DuelL AG carbon fiber side diffusers
DuelL AG carbon fiber rear diffuser
DuelL AG carbon fiber GT spoiler
DuelL AG carbon fiber C-Pillar vent panels
Krone exhaust
DuelL AG "Frog" meter panel

In addition, I have ordered a set of CraftSquare TCA-F/W carbon fiber GT mirrors from Japan. I also have a new set of smooth and pre-primered fender flares to go with the new body kit pieces.

I am still needing to get the cooling bonnet, but they may be a bit later. It is a matter of funds. I have to thank the guys at DuelL AG North America for helping me out. They, and the owner of DuelL AG, are excited to have the car done soon. It may take a month or so for everything to reach the States and another week to get to me. Then, there is the paint work. Looks like the end of April for the premier of the "new" Tackleberry.

BTW, if anyone is interested in a carbon fiber M7 Tuning C-Wing, please let me know. I will be selling mine in a month or so.

Installed my new wheel and tire combo,

Rota Slip's 16x7, 205/45 Hankook all season since it rains about 90% of the time here in Oregon. Don't worry, I have K1's with R888 for track use

Summer tires actually grip better in wet conditions, provided it's within their temperature rating

Not sure what type of rain you're used to, but when there are huge streams of water running across the road, summer tires do not perform better then a much deeper grooved all season tire.

gonna disagree. ive read numerous reviews of tires and the conclusion is almost always that summers, stop and corner better in wet conditions then all seasons.

granted a cheap summer tire vs a good all season tire and the differences might be the other way around.

I really disagree with this. Most of us run a high performance summer tire... With some large tread blocks. It is a fact that tires like this can not evacuate water fast enough. That will cause the car to hydroplane.
Not sure what you consider a summer tire ( maybe you could post a pic?) but I dont think we have the same view on tires here.
