Drove down Highway 1 to Moss Beach and hung out. The sun was hiding but at least it was dry and not too cold. Saw a few MINIs, waved to every single one but didn't get any return waves. Oh well...

 

Didn't do anything to her, but did gaze lovingly at her as I ate my breakfast, a bowl of Frosted MINI Wheats

 

Not exactly at this moment, but later today going to have these installed...

Not today, but tomorrow driving her to Virginia to meet my brother. He loves all things British and has been Jonesin for a Mini.....Giggles should send him over the edge.....he currently drives a Saturn..yawn...

Going for Easter dinner, so I made "Chocolate Biscuit Cake" a decidedly British decadence ...how fitting, should feel right at home in my boot.

Took in to have the front pass headlight bracket replaced and check on why heater temp goes in & out. Water pump getting changed!

 

Took it in to have one of the speaker grills replaced only to find out that I have to bring it in during the week and leave it for the day. So, then I decided to go for a drive and drove it about 60 miles top-down. Drove around Key Biscayne then took a detour to South Beach.

 

At 15K I'm pulling my DoS CAI to clean and recharge the K&N filter. I get the feeling this could take awhile!

 

Took Her on Her break in ride.Kept Her around town first 400 miles or so came home with 1250.Very impressed for a new owner

 

Yea they are pretty dang cool.

 

Is rain the April theme? Haven't seen it posted.

 

Thinking about going and start cleaning the engine compartment. That will take about a week.

Put some seat covers on it. I was looking at some of the more expensive ones but went by pep boys today and they had some perfectly acceptable ones for 40 bucks for the pair.

Superfly what Roof Racks are you and your GF using??

 

she has the thule 480r rapid traverse foot pack with rb47 load bars i believe and the fairing. its a very nice rack and highly recommended.

and i have the 10 yr old 400xt foot pack with rb50 load bars and peloton bike trays. mine has been on 3 different cars now and is still going strong. all you have to do is buy different fit kits for them which is nice! i had an older fairing on my jetta but it is starting to look old and weathered so i opted not to put in on Coop unless i get a new style.

 

I let her sleep today... Tomorrow the week begins again.
