iPhone application: Trapster

Just downloaded it and discovered 3 new speed cameras in my area....

If you have an iPhone, this is a MUST have....... (The website is very cool, but having it coupled with GPS makes this thing very sweet!)

Anyone have any issues with it? Am very impressed so far.....

Had it on my Blackberry, it was OK, except it drained the crap out of my battery when using Trapster, so I uninstalled it. It was somewhat effective in my NY to FL and FL to NY runs when I had it installed. I'd probably install it for the next major road trip that I would take and use it with my V1 protecting me too..

I am also using it on my Blackberry and it works very well, I have a power cord to mine so i am not worried about the battery in the car and i shut the program down when I am not using it. I would have figured a lot more people would be using this by now

I have this on my iphone but it to has yet to help me. It would be a lot nicer if it was actually a radar detector.

I do not go anyplace with out a Radar Detector, for almost 30 years I have used 1 and all of my cars have their own. The Trapster is just another tool to help against Radar, so far in the short time I have used it I cant say it has saved me a ticket but at somepoint I am sure it will with the amount of driving i do

Oh I'm not saying its not going to help me, it has showed me quite a few places where they hide that I didnt know about. I'm also not trying to start anything here, but in a few months I hope to be a state trooper here in PA so i guess I wont really need a radar detector. But untill then I wish I did.
