Dog/pet covering for MINI Cooper?

I'm wondering what pet/dog coverings people have tried for their Mini and like. My dog will be outgrowing the small portable cage in a couple of months and I would like to get something ordered.

I looked through and say some vendor announcements, but what have people tried and liked/disliked.

thanks in advance for any feedback

EDIT: Woops- I have a 2007 Cooper S

I just made my own using canvas purchased at Home Depot. Custom fit and I double layered it with a clear plastic underneath(for wet muddy paws). Total cost of the project was under $30.

I am considering going with the Wyvern Mini rear seat delete for this issue. Seems the best way to protect the leather rear seat is to completely remove it and store it. Plus the extra capacity for hauling stuff. I don't noramally have more than one passenger and sometimes the Dog. This might be the way I go.

30 gallon trash bags

I cover my tire/wheels with 30 gallon draw string trash bags on the car to prevent them from getting wet. You never know what 4 legged, or for that matter two legged, beast is going raise it's leg and mark it's territory.

I just throw his favorite blanket over the rear seat. If I have to leave him in the car for a very short time we always leave the front seats tilted forward so he can't get up front.
My biggest complaint is what he does to the rear windows......Slimy dog !

If I had it my way I would go with the rear seat delete, but I do carry passengers on occasion. So it's seats up and a blanky.

Check out poochstyle.com
I got one of these liners for my MINI before the dog was even allowed in her.
They are great to deal with, too!

Much love for poochstyle. Some photos. Awesome folks to work with and quality construction. I went full-boat to basically enclose the entire boot space with seats folded down because we tend to pack to the rafters with (frequently dirty) earthdog and dog event junk. You can get anything from a simple pad to a the full wrap treatment, with every variation in between (sides but not front, flap or no-flap, dip between seats or no dip, and so on).
