That was probably the last thing I expected to see after reading the thread title. I'm not being critical but can I ask why?

Why- just basically to do something differant, lol. I had extra cherry laying around (garage lights and cell phone photography changed that) and thought it looked nices with BRG. I don't use the MINI to haul much so stuff sliding around isn't to much concern for me but is the problem with the idea. I'll find some fancy looking tiedowns/net or something and put some better pictures up.

And if you are wondering it is slanted downward toward the rear of the car; keeps everything kinda toward that end, where the factory tiedowns are still open. And the top trim piece is held on with velcro so it pops off to expose openings for the upper tiedowns and a notched handle to pull it all up if I need to get to the battery. Its all attached to quarter inch plywood so I can take out whenever also

I don't think I am going to add anymore wood right now, I have to get use to this first lol. I'm debating getting some thin stuff to put on the door sills, replacing the factory metal trim that is there. Maybe someday i'll go crazy with it and take the rear seats out..

Why? Because you can!
I was wondering what to do with that leftover Bruce hardwood flooring.
Neat job...

A+ for creativity and ingenuity.

D- for appearance. Looks like someone cut out a piece of living room floor and stuck it in the MINI. Well... I guess that's basically what you did. Me no likey.

I actually like it - now you need wooden floor"mats" for the front to match!
