So either YOU have a secret admirer, or your MINI does... .

Very cute... but how did you drive without any snow flying off? (Speaking of course from experience in SNOW land.)

Maybe so. I never lived close enough to where I could walk to work... and definitely NOT in the winter.

it's only a couple miles drive, and i didn't get much faster than 30. the snow was on the sticky side. it would have been more poetic if it did fly off because i would have never known. it would have been a secret between my mini and it's admirer.

Ahh... ok that makes more sense... STICKY snow. Between the engine warming up and the snow sliding forward off that tiny bonnet or ripping off in one giant sheet at a higher speed and flying over the top... ... you got lucky! Must be a sign. Definitely makes a smile... glad you didn't miss it! Hopefully you don't have a stalker! JK

definitely my mini. you can ask my wife for a second opinion, although she still doesn't understand my obsession with the car so she might pick me. for your ocd immersion therapy, my mini did have a nice layer of salt and grime underneath from past snowstorms. it also has a bunch of old dents from some aggressive parallel parking suv i presume. once i budget garage parking for my mini, it's getting a face-lift.

No senses of humor around here today. Must be the winter months taking it's toll.

nah - chalk it up to cold weather, the economy, and other political stuff we won't get into. I was just joking, BTW.

Cute, but that you didn't get a ticket. Are daytime running lights mandatory in NY? I guess not! What if the snow slid/flew off the hood, or the roof and obscured another drivers' vision? Different rules of the road, I guess.

So, you drove to work without cleaning off your car? Around here, that's a nice fine. Non-functional headlights, turn signals, etc...

But it's awfully cute that someone did that.

yeah, stupid in retrospect. i was in a rush. i didn't realize the headlights were covered. i did clean the rear, though. good thing it was a short, slow drive. anyway, taxis don't pay attention to signals.

Well, maybe if a cop had pulled you over and saw that... his heart would've just gotten all melty and he would've given you a big hug!

On the other hand, they do pay attention to certain hand signals.

raised with Texan southern manners, i've never used such hand signals, unless you mean a thumb's up.
