Potential Cooper S recall?

Interesting reading; any Cooper S owners have insight?

If you touch a hot exhaust it will burn you.

I have noted another serious safety issue for NHTSA to bring to committee:
if I put my foot under a rotating MINI tire, my foot may be injured.

What about some of us, who work on their Mini naked? Might get certain things caught in the fan belt. I dont see any stickers that warn you not to do engine work naked....

(From the article) "Some of the burn injuries are significant second degree burns, causing blistered skin or scarring, often in a half-moon shape pattern matching the approximately 2 3/4-inch diameter of the exhaust tips."

Hell I'm proud of the "half moon" scars on my shins. What other car brands their owners with such marks of distinction?!
