Up Charge on Lease
Up Charge on Lease
I am going to lease a 2009 Clubman S, and Brecht Mini in Escondido, CA
(30 mi. North of San Diego), wants to charge me $1,690.00 extra as a
market rate adjustment. They tell me the dealers in L.A. are adding up to
$4,000.00 per Mini on sale or lease.
Anyone having the same experience in Southern California, or anywhere else in the country?

+1 for Southbay
DO NOT pay a penny over MSRP... tell them stick that up their rear. Best thing to say is "Southbay is selling/leasing at MSRP. Goodbye."
For that money, tell him that you can lease a 60k car.. lol
Just call Southbay... doesnt matter who helps you. they wont charge over MSRP.

this is getting a little crazy. I knwo MINI's aren't hard to sell but that is the dealer just being dicks and trying to screw good people. any car dealer MINI or any other brand that does an upcharge is not worth the even being in the dealership.
