What's the deal with the Chrome?
In order to pass the time while I wait the loooong 3 months for my Clubman S, I've been going through all the details of the options I've ordered and of course second guessing all my choices.
I love the bling to some extent so I'm going with the Chrome line interior. Is it really chrome as in "metal" or is it plastic that will scratch and wear badly? Especially around the cupholders where there will be a lot of wear, do the rings scratch easily?
I'm also wondering what is the difference between the "chrome mirror caps" and the "chrome exterior mirrors" (besides the $40). Is there an advantage to one over the other?

I have the chrome interior, and it looks the biz. The pieces are made of chromed plastic, but it seems to hold up fairly well. I haven't noticed any worn areas or scratches; mind you, I usually only have paper/plastic drink containers (and not every day) in them.
If they do start wearing out, they pop off with no problem and can be easily replaced (on my '06 R53 anyhow).
