JCW rear wing - how to remove?

I'm looking at a used MCS that has the JCW rear wing. The wife thinks it's ugly and I think its a bit teenager/speeding ticket...

So is it removable?

Can I just remove it, sell it on NAM, and then get a stock rear spoiler.?

It will leave a mess and the area on the boot will have to be sanded and repainted. I'd have a body shop do it

Yes r53.

"It will leave a mess and the area on the boot will have to be sanded and repainted" That could be a deal breaker. Can the wing just be unbolted and the base be left on the car?

Charger,

The JCW wing was installed with epoxy. There are no bolts holding on the JCW wing. It is mounted above the center brake light on the trunk lid. The old holes of the wing should have caps covering the holes.

As mentioned above, the trunk lid will need repainting.

Good luck with your purchase!
