Car Color Reveals Personality of Driver

Research results from a recent survey of 130,000 insurance claims in Great Britain. Listed in order of the most dangerous (accident-wise) to the least.

Black cars denote a aggressive personality or someone who’s an outsider or rebel.

Silver cars indicate someone who’s cool, calm, and slightly aloof.

Green cars are often the choice of people with hysterical tendencies.

Yellow cars signify someone who is idealistic and novelty loving.

Blue cars are chosen by the more introspective, reflective, and cautious drivers.

Gray cars represent those who are calm, sober, and dedicated to their work.

Red cars denote those who are full of zest, energy, and drive who think, move,
and talk quickly.

Pink cars are chosen by gentle, loving, and affectionate drivers.

White cars represent status-seeking extrovert drivers.

Cream-color cars denote self-contained and controlled drivers.

Paint all three pink, then you can join the few pink MINIs on this planet! Then you can also shorten up that SN you have for NAM hehe! Merry Christmas!

Motor On & Happy Holidays!

Color is subjective but there are colors that are just perfect match and stand-out to the over-all design of the Mini.

A good philosophical question. How about this - It says a lot about how enlightened Mini owners are in understanding the duality of life. Fast and very fast.

What about Hot Orange? Are we a combination of yellow and red? I also have a roof that is a different color(black).

My wife says it just shows how messed up I am. There's probably some truth to that.

What if you're just in the upper-middle-age range?

I'd better not have much testosterone.

I'm female.

I think there's a Hot Orange Support Group on the site.

Yeah, but there's a Support Group for all the colors. I guess that's because there are so many cool colors for the MINIs.

Agreed. I swear, the MINI is the first car that I think looks good in literally every factory color combo! Granted some I wouldn't want for myself, but not one stands out to me as ugly.

Yep, Purple Haze / Black Eye Purple (I find that hilarious ). Was discontinued just last year with the introduction of the R56. I've also seen pics of gorgeous, and apparently semi-rare, PH/S (yes SILVER!) MINI's. Very nice.

I wonder if Dark Silver is considered to be more gray than silver for this list...

PW is really somewhere between white and cream, so that must make me a self seeking, status contained, controlled extrovert.

Which is ridiculous, since I'm about as far from controlled as you can get.

"What. Oh. Yes dear...I'll be right there"

I know what you mean--this is the first RED car I've had. Most of them have been silver or charcoal silver. Then again, I've wanted a red MINI ever since I saw them race back in the late 60's/early 70's.
