Any Jet Black MINIs Out There?
Any Jet Black MINIs Out There?
It seems there aren't many out there. All of the items for sale in the Market forum seem to be from a CR, PW, or blue Minis.

Yeah Baby. Everytime I attend an event with my 05 Jet Black MCS heads turn. I hear a lot of comments about "How good it looks in Black". "Wish we would of done that!"
My wife and I decided on black because it actually makes the car look smaller then the other colors. We ordered ours that way after seeing a salesmans Black MCS parked in between a red and yellow MCS.
Admittedly, theres not alot of them out there. Even when I go back to the dealer for service, sales people will ask if it's true black.
BTW, my babies garage kept, highly detailed, and will not see bad weather. It's only been in water for a wash. Not even rain. This car will probably be the last car my wife will own, as she can't even bring herself to think about another, let alone look at anything else.

I was next to a Jet Black Cooper S yesterday on the 210 freeway between Pasadena and Ontario. Looked fairly stock, but man, so clean you could have eaten off of it.
There is no other color that looks as good as black when it's clean and well kept.

If you find yourself in Virginia, and you don't mind not having a "Numbers Matching" car, I'll gladly change whatevere your color is now to jet black.
I paint for a living and this is one project I'd be happy to do. The one problem I find most people have with this option(regardless of color), is the price. It's a very expensive operation when done correctly.
And what say we get that "Jet Black Rules Thread" going again?

Motor On, your pictures are gorgeous! Someone is a professional photographer or knows one!!
Ahhhhh, you must have the pic I posted of him at the DCMM monthly breakfast. Yep, he has driving lights now.
We love the driving lights aesthetically. Functionally, they help a bit, but not as much as we thought they would. It's an expensive mod, that's for sure.
