First Christmas Tree: Nothing a MINI can't handle

Picked up my first Christmas tree with my family at a pick and cut your own farm, Abel's tree farm in Verbank, NY. They bundled and tied it on the roof very securely. Great day of motoring up the Tacomic State Parkway.

Your first kill. It should look nicely mounted in the living room.

Yikes ! I'm breaking out in hives over the possibility of that blanket not being microfiber, let along the possibility of it shifting and the tree scratching the paint.

And it's not even MY MINI !! :impatient Pray for me, I'm not well.

It was fun passing SUVs and minivans with smaller trees on the way back home.

Calm down. You don't need a prayer, just Prozac or electroshock therapy. Next time I will clearbra my top before posting any more pictures.

It was a very soft but thick and strong IKEA 100% polyester faux-fleece like material. Plenty of excess coverage and strapped on very snug. Funny thing is nobody else bothered bringing any protective blankets for their fancy SUVs. Despite a roof-rack, they're going to suffer some scratches I'm sure.

Noooo, the poor mini. But, at least you had something down. Still think i would have had to call in a favor from a friend with a truck. Rather than put it on top of the coop.

Good God, no ... the only thing you put a queen size mattress on the roof for would be as a cushion for the garden shed.

Anyone catch the pictures of the 72" television IN BOX that was on NAM or one of the other boards a while back? It was carried standing up, too!

Oh come on, that tree would fit IN the MINI. Then when you pass all the SUVs with the tree strapped to the roof you will really be laughing.
