Upon delivery of your new MINI

Did your dealer have a full tank of gas waiting for you?

I got a full tank. But with gas prices the last couple of years, I won't be surprised if they filled it up with regular.

My fears were somewhat confirmed a couple of months ago when I was at the gas station. I saw a brand new Nissan Maxima being filled up. It had the window sticker and all the plastic covering. I took a look at the pump and it was being filled up with regular. IIRC all Nissan/Infiniti VQ engines requires premium gas.

Yes. And I can't imagine that any dealer would sell a new car without a full tank of gas. That's just atrocious.

Lewis was full of gas, sitting out front bonnet out, waiting to go.

Nevermind he had the wrong wheels and no floor mats.

Full with premium and got an extra tank when I brought her back in for some accessories to be installed as well! Carpet floor mats and a few other little things.

Not until I had to ask. I think it was a simple oversight though.

Yes, a full tank of top of the line Shell. The station was next to the dealer, Century MINI in Greenville. My MA was John Moore and he was excellent. He even double checked to make sure the tank was full.

Almost full. It looked full but it wasn't. I should have made it home , 350 miles, but I had to stop and fill up.

What's one tank of gas have to do with buying a MINI or any car?

I can see where you'd be hurt it it was a Hummer.

That is an affirmative, and my 02 MCS had 45K on the odometer!

Full tank, and about a 30 minute "training session". Drove it right out into the rain. (Here in AZ to boot).

Yep, I made sure to request it before delivery. Although I'm pretty sure it and the 'intro' are standard procedure.
