Welcome to NAM with your low mileage Cooper! Post some pix when you get a chance.
Welcome Dobes.
And thank you from all us other old AF farts, for not saying "fighter jets." I want to strangle news idiots and narrators every time I hear that grammatically wrong set of words.

A friend of the family flys F-16's and says that his MINI is the car equivalent of his fighter plan.
Welcome!
Congratulations on your new wheels!
Love hearing from folks who appreciate the MINI's handling.
We have good friends in the Austin area-great town!
Now you just have to find those windy roads and enjoy the MINI's capabilities.
Great to hear you got a low mileage "1st Generation" MINI.
They are classics in their own time.
I second everyone's request for pictures, but we know...
Driving comes first, picture taking is clearly second.

What did you fly?
I remember, many years ago while going to UT, driving one of my friends cars on the road out to Lake Travis. If it was fun in a '63 Impala, it would be worth doing more than once in a MINI. Happy motoring in a beautiful place, and thanks for your service to our country. My brother in law is a retired AF fighter pilot.

Thanks for the welcome! I will try to post a pic. It has white rims which I might upgrade, does match the top! To answer what did you fly...F-86, F-101, RF-101, F-102, RF-4, F-4E, AND the best, the F-104. Still do some corporate flying in Citations. I will never grow up!
