I really like the Silk Green MINI's. As well as the Velvet Reds .

 

If I ever hit the lottery, I'm wouldn't buy a mansion or jewelry, I'd buy a MINI in every color I ever wished I'd ordered .
The Space Blue/Silver Checkmate became available about the time my MINI was on the ship over, I think if I'd have known it was coming I might have waited(probably NOT, but maybe).
Loved the Velvet Red, Black Eyed Purple and Liquid Yellow, one day maybe...

It looks like for the 2011 Models you can still get Sparkling Silver on the Base Coopers; excluding the Countryman and Works Models.

That's so weird. I went through the entire list of colors the other day and made a list of what I could see myself with, other than my lovely PW/B, and those exact 3 colors plus the Royal Grey were the only ones I chose!!

 

 

LOL, great minds. My husband just ordered a Countryman and I tried to get him to order the Royal Grey (no go, he picked Cosmic Blue which I like, too).

The warm filter on those photos really does that yellow justice.

 

Well, here's my new re-acquired (long story...sorta) '03 JB/B Mini. Didn't know it was that rare but I love it. Makes a cute car, tough X^) ....just needs new (light) shoes!

 

Sorry to bump such an old thread. The PO of my MC told me it was a fairly uncommon color combo; Cosmos Black/Cosmos Black w/ white stripes on the bonnet. After going through this thread I guess he was right! It's an impressive looking combination. Black can be a real pain to keep nice, but it sure is purty.

damn I had no idea how many different colors there were!

 

I don't have any pics yet, but I'm reppin' the Indi Blue. The one color I REALLY wanted! Love the black roof/mirrors, but I found one with a white roof/mirrors. There was a Purple Haze "one color" Mini for sale in town, but it never went down in price. Loved that color too.

 

Love this thread! I first started seriously dreaming about owning a MINI back in '05, and my fave on the configurator was the Purple Haze. In fact, my wallpaper at that time was the MINIbot transformer-like beast in PH! If, god forbid, anything ever happened to Ruffian, I'd hunt down an '06 in PH/W or S.

I really wish MINI would bring back the retired colors in phases, or hell, all at once! They might be surprised how many people jump at the chance to order a once-retired color for a brand-new MINI.

 

Fairly certain Horizon Blue Metallic is retired. Recently at Dealership and couldn't find it anywhere. Can some one confirm this?

If so, my Mini is even more special!

 

My favorite MINI colors are British Racing Green, Liquid Yellow and Electric Blue. Ended up with a LY/B MCS.
