Your favorite NON-DRIVING driving shoes

Mine are an old pair of topsiders , but it's starting to get chilly and they really don't work well with socks. My work shoes (Rockport Walkers) are ok, but not for just messing around on the weekend . My Nikes are great shoes, but they feel like I have boats on my feet when driving. I love my crocs , but they feel too loose when driving - I haven't tried them with socks, but that would only work if it IS NOT wet.

Soooooo, can anybody recommend anything? Please don't tell me to buy real driving shoes.

Converse!

Get these:

http://www.overstock.com/Clothing/Co...LjsxqXSZ5toBJg

I got some last year and they fit and feel great while motoring.

No problems with the tight pedal spaces-perfect fit!

I got a second pair 'cos I liked 'em so much.

My luck has been once I find something I like, they quit making it.

Here is a thread about the subject with LOTS of opinions. Good luck.

I don't really have just one favorite pair but I am a girl so that's allowed I really don't worry about what shoes i wear when I drive. In the summer I love strappy sandals & Converse... in the winter I am all into boots & clogs

DC actually makes driving shoes. The owner (Ken Block) is a pro rally driver now.

I'm 52...it's fun to see kids and even little tikes still wearing cons....classic, as are the basic no-fuss canvas deck shoe.

Keens Rock!

I love my Keen shoes. For work I wear these:

In the summer I wear these when I'm not barefoot.

They are by far the most comfortable shoes I own. Check them out if you have not seen them before. The sandals are fantastic!

Yeah Converse has some really cool options there but unfortunately no checkered options so I had to go Vans. I much prefer the look of Converse though so I hope one day they will add checkerboard canvas to their options

thanks a lot...the above link forced me to design then buy, a pair of slip-ons that match my S.
I have a pair of checkered Vans, which are great driving shoes, but I want them to last.
We'll see if the Converse slip-ons are as comfy.
