General MINI TalkShared experiences, motoring minutes, and other general MINI-related discussion that applies to all MINIs, regardless of model, year or trim.
On that histogram did anyone else notice one driver is 13 and we don't have anyone over 90. Common lets get someone 95 to drive a MINI. Not sure how fast they would want to be going though.
I wonder how old the oldest race car driver is? That still races.
Well....let's see....59 and counting....with the Top DOWN
I have a 98 yr old grandma who'd be thrilled to drive the MINI. She lives in a different city, but this is now on my list of "things to do with the MINI"
I'm 45 and the daughter is 12 and she is ready to take over the ownership of my mini.
From most of the Mini meets I attend the age appears to be 45 on average, so I guess that places me right in the middle.
Funny how those under the age of 40 are eager to tell you what they soon will be instead of telling you what they presently are without adding weeks or months .
Let's see, I just had a birthday,...which was it?? Oh yeah, I'm 55.
Someone told me the three things that go when you get old, but I can't remember either of them.
My husband turned 50 yesterday. (THAT SOUNDS SOOOOO STRANGE!!) His car is a Lexus ES350, but when we go somewhere together we take the MINI 99.99999% of the time, and he wants to drive.
I am now 65. I'm on my second MINI. The first one Liquid Yellow 02 Cooper had an automatic transmission which drove me nuts at low speeds because it was so jerky. So last year I ordered a 06 Hyper Blue Cooper with a manual transmission. Having never driven a "stick shift"... I would avoid hills at all costs ... but now I LOVE the "stick." New transmission at 400 miles.... I was wondering if it was me... but there was something wrong with it so it was replaced.
Love the MINI... loved going to the Dragon#5 . Planning on going in 2008. The greatest thing about being retired is that you can drive your MINI all day..... Yeahh......
64. Had my '05 MCS since 8/04. Have run over 64,000 miles in the last 3 decades. My MINI has only 17,000 + miles. When I get older, I may drive the MINI more and run less. Nick
