Has anyone here ever put the MINI Motoring IDs on their cars? I've seen a lot of listings for NC on the Owners Lounge site, but I've never actually seen a MINI on the road with one.

 

I had mine on for 2 years and recently took it off. I saw a few at the Dragon.

You have to keep in mind that the listings you see in the OL represent only a fraction of the number of MINIs on the road. Statistically speaking it's probably going to be rare to spot someone with a motoring ID.

I had mine (MOTO767) on Gromit until I had the top replaced. I have another decal somewhere, but just haven't got off my tail to reinstall it.

 

Kewl, I plan on putting mine on 'SPECTER' (Zip010) However, he's not been born yet. Still showing a status of 'On Order'

 

Everyone - keep in mind that a Motoring ID is really assigned to your MINI, not to you.

This is because you need to supply a VIN in order to log on to the MINIUSA Owner's Lounge. Since the requirement is a VIN, it's tied to your MINI!

If you have 2 MINIs, you have 2 VINs, which means you can get two Motoring IDs.

 

But I thought we were all one with our MINIs! It seems most owners know each other by their MINIs.
