I run the hardline directly from my modem to my 360, so that isn't the problem. I am going to MB, SC for the week, so hopefully it was just a freak thing and it will be resolved when I get back, probably not though.

Ahh yes...the girlfriend factor. I know what you mean...only time I ever get to play is friday night when she's working or late late late at night when she goes to sleep. She requires constant attention...don't most girls? jk

 

Lucky for me, my g/f plays video games as much as me, so she ends up playing on the computer while im playing forza on xbox live. Although when she starts messing with me on the last lap of a race and causes me to wreck...well then...

Anyways, i have been building more cars...i now have 2, D class cars ready to race. I also droped my MINI down to C class, But i may have to do a little more tuning on it.

I need to get another car for B class built. I only have a Peugot 206 RC for B class, and needless to say, i dont win very many with it.

So far i think D, C, and B are my favorite classes. I think i will be sticking with those for a while. So if you would like to run some races you know what class my cars are.

I need more NAM'ers to get on! It gets lonely out there with no one to shoot the breeze with.

Ok so i got bored tonight, no one wanted to race...so i built a new B class car and tuned/painted it. (It took me about 3 hours per car to paint.) Had some really fun races with 3 australian guys. They were pretty funny.

Here is my new B class car. (a 1992 Nissan Silvia. also known as the nissan 240 here in the states.)

It only has 202hp...in B class

Here is also my D class Car. (AE86 Sprinter Trueno. Also known as a mid 80's toyota corolla.) This beast has a stunning 130hp.

Hey Alpha, that was some awesome racing last night.

It is a shame we didnt have it set on career from the start, i would have made me some serious coinage.

You need to make some D, C, B cars so you dont have to use arcade ones. I think you would enjoy it alot more.

It is also cheaper to build the cars because you dont have to buy so many mods like you would in order to reach the higher classes.

I think i want to get atleast 2 cars for each class that i like. I already have my D class done, i think i will need 1 more car for C and 1 more for B. Although my B class silvia scoots along pretty good...its still not the fastest. As you saw with Berkel's FTO that left me in the dust.

I might try putting my lotus Elan in C or B class and see how it does. That little thing is hard to put the traction down. It is very fishtail happy.

Another route i could go is build another sprinter, and put it in C class, dont think it would be that good for B but you never know.

Will you be on tonight? If so we need to get some races going.

I think i get on sooner than you so i will probably be painting or tuning some cars. Just send me a message when you get on.

HAWG, do you have any D, C, or B class cars? If so we should be able to get some good races going.

I personally like to keep the number of cars down to 6 instead of 8 it clears up some traffic on the course and normally there is less bumping going on.

Maple Valley short reverse and Maple Valley long are my home tracks.

I also like Luguna Seca and a few other short to med' sized tracks. I still do not know most of them so i tend to do alot worse on other tracks i dont know.

It is 4:31pm west coast time right now, i'll be on in about an hour and start tuning/painting until someone gets on.

 

I prefer to race B, C, and D. I had some good cars for that class but I havent raced online lately, and last time I was may cars were nolongere the powerhouses they once were, so I may need to do some tuning/ buy new cars

Broke down and got a 360 w/ Forza 2 at lunch today. Game seems thoroughly kick@$$, as expected

If you can, try to get some D, C, and B class cars to run with us.

B class is limited to 700 points.
C class is limited to 550 points.
D class is limited to 400 points.

Different mods take different amount of points. Mainly HP, tires, and weight take the most points. Suspension/brakes/transmission take very little.

 

I've mostly been running the MCS (now B Class soon to be back down to C), a Mk II GTi w/ the R32 drivetrain (B692), and a super insano S992 R32 and am up to level 16 so far.

MINI seems to kind of get the shaft a bit compared to the upgrade/decal options on the other makes I've checked out so far (no AWD conversion ), but still very cool none the less. Anyone figured out how to paint/vinyl the mirror caps?

 

The MINI doesnt get any motor swaps, so no AWD for it. The reason my Honda Integra has AWD is because i swaped the motor/drivetrain from a Honda CRV which has AWD. But i lost 30HP in the process.

...and the MINI does not have many manufacturer decals as most of the others.

However a properly tuned MINI in D or C class is almost unbeatable. Even the AWD cars have trouble keeping up with it.

As far as the mirror caps go, i thought they were the color of whatever you painted the body color, but someone from NAM told me that this was untrue. They may only come in white. I think someone will chime in and agree.

Hi Guys, I just got this game the other day. I was up almost all night playing it the first night. FM2 definitely rocks! The MINI they have in the game is awesome. I've already bolted on quite a few upgrades. I believe it is up to a class B with something over 300HP. I would like to join you guys and race sometime. My gamertag is SuperCooper78. I hope you can keep that baby on the track. Are you running on slicks, DOT sport, or stock tires?

SilverRocket, I had a blast racing last night, sorry i had so many interuptions. Did you get any D, or C cars tuned and ready for tonight? or do you still need more time?

I bought yet another Sprinter Trueno that i may build for C class. Not sure yet.

 

I got the tires just below slicks. Also upped the diameter and the width of the tire. Not to mention added all the suspension upgrades to keep tires on the ground. I'll add you tonight to my friends list.

 

Wjgianne, if you get the chance try to build some D and C cars also. That way we can have runs across all three classes.
