HELP!

We are trying to locate the Banner. The Banner was handed off to Dee&Keith on THMMC at Mt Mitchell where they were taking it back to PA with them, their plan was to hand it off to someone with DC Minis and I have PM'd them without a response.

Does anyone have any information on the Banner's whereabouts??

No... We have tried in vain to locate the Banner, as I stated before, the last folks to have it were Dee & Keith who were going to hand it off to someone with DC Minis.

Please, if anyone can help to locate the Banner it would be a great help.

Just keeping this thread alive in hopes that the MMAC Banner appears soon.

I met recently with one of my hospital's PR guys. When telling him my story, I mentioned the MMAC banner. If there is some media exposure in the future to come out of this, it would be great to be able to tell whomever where the banner is.

 

Will the banner be in Blytheville Arkansas June 6th? Several Mini Clubs are going to the cars and cycles against cancer car show. This year they are having a birthday party for the Mini. Banner found!!!!!!!! I'm driving to Central Jersey on my day off the 8th. I had to talk to some guys ex-wife to get it back, she was keeping it till after the divorce was final but she agreed to give it back to me. Excellent! Glad to hear it has been tracked down! Good work! If possible, post a current picture of it. It would be neat to see all the signatures and the updated path! I would think it would probably be a good idea to have the banner come home to the Tar Heel MINIs given it's absence and let them decide where it needs to go next.

I've heard of a lot of things being held hostage in a divorce, dogs, cars, even favorite sweatshirts, but a Banner? Well that may explain the divorce.

Let's not let this experience stop the purpose of the banner. It should continue to move to those that have expressed and interest. The only thing that I would suggest is that we track and name the people/club that has is in their possession, and to whom it has been handed off.

The Banner is in my hands again !!!! The ex-wife didn't know what it was because he had put it a tube roll but she knew it was important to him. She was nice to me and felt bad after I explained to her what people have been looking for this for months. I am planning a charity cruise with my local Euro car club which will be inviting every forum all members are on to participate to help raise money for a friend. It will hopefully be a decent size event. Not all Mini but that's not the important part.

No details have been worked out for date or anything yet but here is the cause.

Now that the Banner has been located we need some more folks who will be having events that they want the Minis Motoring Against Cancer Banner at to post up and we can get the Banner moving!!!

Mini Coopers down here in Columbia, are participating in relay for life.. (SC) we are known as Team Mini Cooper.. would love to have it down here for that it is in May, and I am going to the dragon.. so perhaps if you guys would let us have it..l we are also having a mini cooper night at the Big Mo Drive in , in aiken Ga.. we could take it there ?!
