DipYourCar (Plasti-dip) Professional Car Kit Plus

Bought this kit from dipyourcar.com, got it on Monday, used it on my car and was banned from using it again in garage of the complex from my mangement company..... Guess my idea of changing colors every 6 months is out the window.

The kit includes:

The Sprayer, 1 roll of Blue Tape (unused), a DipWasher®, DipYourCar.com Decals, Mixing Sticks. Pre-dip spray and Tape and Drape (unused). A must have for someone who wants to save the time and have a perfect and even finish.

All you need is to buy paint from DipYourCar.com. The only item I really used is the sprayer, everything else in the kit and I had used ones left in the garage so I didn't use it.

My loss is your gain!

$180

Before

After

Thanks!

It doesn't look bad at all, it's mostly smooth with a rubbery texture, of course this is my first spray job, there are coupe of areas with texture. But overall, I am very satisfied with it!

I'm interested to hear how the white holds up, I've heard it doesn't stay white very long. Would love to spray mine with the OD Green... :P

So after 4 days of driving, the white gets dirty pretty fast, no filthy, but it does collect dust. I sprayed it with some Simple Green, let it soak for a while and rinsed it off with a towel and water. It looks like it was just dipped, clean as new! ...thank god.

I've heard plastidip can ruin you paint and be a pain to remove. My buddy did it on his mustang and now has to get the car resprayed so if your using plastidip just be careful

I used it multiple times on multiple vehicles with no issues... Did he use the ready to spray or try to mix it up himself? The only issues I've heard of was when people bought the actual DIP and thinned it themselves to spray.
