It's from a Top Gear; Mini Cooper vs. Skoda Fabia RS. The diesel Skoda had a lot more power than the MC; Richard Hammond even said the MINI brakes better and handles better, but he lost the race because of lack of power.

 

I think the mini sounds like a bumble bee trapped in a tin can...
The mini doesn't stand a chance against the P-car... not with equal drivers..

 

I know but It's like David and Goliath when you see a MINI take on any vehicle. That 'bumble bee' stings pretty good when it gets out of that 'tin can'. ha

 

I agree... the mini is quite a capable car... but not quite up to par with some of the more pure bred sport cars.. Put equal drivers in each car and it wouldn't be much of a race..
but then again... the cars don't compare too well to begin with..

That Mini is modded WAY more than the Porsche.

 

those arent the cars we drive here. they are not stock at all. one really cant say that the mini wouldnt win if drivers were different. Actually, it might be the case that the skoda would lose if that were the case. To compete with high end cars and still not look like crap and be inexpensive, the mini is pimptastic.

 

From the names on the windshield one of the driver's is Steve Diniz who raced in the NAMCC and won a couple races in the modified class as I recall. He's also on NAM.
