Washington D.C. SCCA *MINI ONLY* Weekday Autocross Schools
By the request of MINI of Towson in Baltimore, Maryland, the Washington, D.C. Region of the SCCA is putting together four days of Weekday Schools for MINI owners ONLY.
Sign up for one of four possible Weekday School dates to learn to autocross your MINI Cooper or Cooper S. There is no experience necessary and this is an opportunity to learn the limits of your highly capable MINI on an open parking lot around cones.
The cost is $200 per person for this exclusive all day driving experience. Only 6 people per day for the best personalized instruction.
The schools will happen on four different days from 8am to 3pm on Monday, April 17th through Thursday, April 20th, choose ONE. The lot used is located at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick, MD, just off of I70.
There will be a total of 24 slots available so make sure you don't miss out on the unique MINI experience.
Here's how to sign up:
1) Go to www.dlbracing.com and create a "login"
2) Go to the calendar and set it up for April, 2006, Washington DC Region SCCA, and Autocross Schools
3) You'll see the schools on April 17th-20th
4) Pick a school by clicking on the little notepad to register
5) You'll receive an email confirmation to the email you use for the login, so make sure it's a regular valid email.
If you have any questions, feel free to email Brian Garfield at garfield@northamericanmotoring.com
**Events are rain or shine. Lunch will not be included in the cost. Each day must fill to six people in order to happen. Some schools may need to be combined if they are underfilled. **

No. I'll be notifying those people registered that we'll be trying for the next week. At this point, we'll figure out a date that works for those registered. If you're interested, please email me at garfield@northamericanmotoring.com .

For everybody interested, the school on Monday, April 17th is NOT happening, nor are any of the other original dates.
In order for the Weekday Schools to work, they have to be filled far enough in advance to aquire Sanction and Insurance. They were not and therefore must be tried another time.
These schools were arranged as a favor for MINI of Towson. Normally, Weekday Schools must be organized by an individual who handles all the details. (http://solo.wdcr-scca.org/noviceSchool.php)
If you are interested in attending a WDCR SCCA Weekday School, you can email me directly. I am compiling a list of all the people and will put you in contact with each other. OR, you can simply start a thread here on NAM to do it.
I compete Nationally and was doing so in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas this weekend (15 hours away), so I was not able to stay on top of all the details.
I apollogize for the confusion and delays.
Thanks,
Brian Garfield
