Racing

I agree with MSFITOY, you're my hero. Loved the previous vid with the Cobra and now the Porsches. I lived in CT for 3 years before moving out to NM. Went to Limerock once to watch some races. Loved the track. We have 1.5mi road course here but its not nearly as pretty as Limerock. We plan on running our JCW equipped 05 here in some club racing events when I get a few more miles in and some classes under my belt.
Keep the vids coming.

I do, but only for Autocross. In Autocross they give the Cooper S their own class, REGARDLESS OF MODS, i.e. Your mean beast would be in same class as a stock MCS. They call it 4-cylinder modified.

I'm not sure how they class for track. You need to check with your chapter.

btw, not many people know this but you get discount on parts from your BMW dealer if you show them your BMWCCA membership card. (They dont tell you this). I think it's like 10% discount.

Offtopic - I LOVE the way you get comments on your vids on almost all your threads, it's funny sh*t.

Autocross only so far. The National Capital Region, which runs a really nice season series, places us in the X Class (non-BMW), which is OK by me. I have a first and a second this year; got beat by a ZO6 by 0.1 last week.

I'm gonna have to try the track soon, though.

Loved your video.

There is one in the DC area, I believe... don't remember a name... a woman driver... I've seen the car at Helix as they do some prep work on it.

The car is totally track-only. No air bags, full cage, basically gutted interior, solo racing seat. Yellow with a checker-board roof, if I remember right.

Nice driving at Lime Rock. You had a couple of big moments in the Left Hander, though, but you kept in on the tarmac on a few of those tank slappers (well, except the last footage)!

Which club did you run with?
