My new Track/Autox car

It is done. I'm going this weekend to put a deposit on my new fun track/autocross car. Here are the stats:

1967 mini Countryman body (1500lbs) REAR WHEEL DRIVE CONVERSION!!!
2300cc Ford 140hp Engine
Full Cage
Fully ajustable suspension
4 Wheel disk brakes
full braded lines
fuel cell
Kirky racing seats
5 point harneses

0-60 in a few ticks over 5 seconds.

First thing I have to do is get a new rear diff, it was built with a locked rear differential. Would make a great drift car as it currently sits. LOL. It uses a Chevy S10 rear so the options are plentiful.

The car is currently not street legal but I hope to have it on the street next summer. It will however be hopfully terrorizing an autocross near you this summer. Don't know if I'll get it on the track this summer as I want to shake it out first.

Wish me luck I have a lot of work ahead of me.

Paul

You can drift this car from here (Toronto) to California. The owner tried his hand at an autocross last year (first time in both car and autocross) gave up so spend the next 5 minutes doing donuts! LOL.

Oh that'd be amazing fun!
How long would you imagine that rubber lasting under a serious drift session?

Forgot to add:
Are those Falkens? I know Falken has a whole line of those baby tires for the classic mini.
After seeing this it's making my pockets hot!

She's unique alright. Got a ton of learning to do being that the car is one of a kind in the world.
