R53 Battery Isolator

R53 Battery Isolator
Are there any good how-to articles out there for installing a battery isolator on my R53?
I like this at $35: https://www.murraymotorsport.com/mas...solator-6-pole
But this setup for isolating the battery AND killing the engine? https://www.murraymotorsport.com/car...-carck-bg-06-b
Not sure what's really needed and would hate to fry something...
Thanks,
Pat

The thread may be old but my getting around to it isn't! I just finished installing a Cartek a couple months ago.
The hardest part was figuring out where to tie it into the ignition of course, but I found a thread on Grassroots Motorsports where they were putting in a kill switch on an R53 so I followed their lead. There are 2 big red wires under the steering column going to the ignition switch - they guessed right with which one to use, and in typical fashion I did not. The one I used initially looked like it was working for powering everything up just wouldn't kill it. The other wire functions correctly.
