I’ve been looking at different roll bar and roll cage designs recently and on four point roll bars there are two common mounting locations and I’m interested in knowing if there’s one preferable over the other. I’ve seen them made were the main hoop is mounted to the floor before the raise up over gas tank and legs to the wheel well ledge.
The other common one is the main hoop on forward section of the gas tank ledge and the legs along the same line further back.
