Do I have to have two harnesses?
I bought a set of schroth quick fits. I can't remember if they are 3 or 4 point harnesses.
Point is, I installed them and in less than 5 minutes, removed them.
It's obvious I have to have the center belt to go through the bottom of the seat to prevent me from submarining.
I haven't bought another set because I'm wanting to buy a set of JCW seats so I can get the right harnesses.

The way Schroth explained this to me is that the Quickfit Pro is a four point belt & has provisions for the anti-submarine belt in a 6 or 5 point configuration and also supports hans devices.
The base Schroth Quickfit is a four point belt but does not have provisions for the sub belt or hans.

I realize this post is a year old but thought this was worth adding.
I instruct for PCA, BMWCCA, AUDI, ect… Most clubs require equal restraints. However, the instructor can choose to use the factory belts if they prefer. Many instructors, myself included, would rather use the factory belts as it's difficult to watch the driver's eyes while wearing a Hans and it's dangerous to wear 5 or 6 point belts without some sort of head and neck device.
My advice is to buy one set of belts and if you find that the insructor prefers "equal restraints" just wear your three point belt. But, I don't think you'll run into an issue.
