>>I would be interested in finding out more info from people who've installed harnesses.
Peter,
We have the Schroth harness in the TEAM MCO car and it was REALLY easy to install. Took about thirty minutes total. We have another Schroth harness for the passenger side that we got through SoloRacer.com and will be installing it as well. Compared to the stock belt you don't move...period. As this is the first harness I've had in car I've been very impressed and it has definitely resulted in faster times and a better feel of what the car is doing. Additionally, the nice thing about these harnesses is that that just unbuckles from the car in less than 15 seconds. I only use them when I'm competiting so its nice to be able to take them out when driving on the street. That said you can use them on the street as well since these are one of the few DOT-approved harnesses on the market. I highly recommend them. Give Brett at SoloRacer.com a call as you can get them in several colors.
Hope this helps

Hey Mark,
Thanks for the info... I'll definitely be checking this out. It'll be nice for autox, but my main motivation is for an upcoming driver's school. I'm going to start a new thread (so as to keep this one on topic) re: brakes. I'd be very interested in hearing what others have done... I'm getting really conficting opinions.
Thanks again,
Peter

>>I know. That's why I started a new thread on it. Sorry for the off-topic post.
Silly me. I though you were saying you were going to get a new thread about driving schools or the harness and let this thread back on topic about brakes.
