I don't have my car yet, but I'm co-driving a 318ti in DSP this year until it gets here. I'll probably run my "S" in G stock the latter part of this year, and then decide if I want to go to STX for next year. I think the quaiffe might be cost prohibitive, however.

Since this is a thread that all the AutoXers are reading.......

Where does a newB start with AutoX? I've had my MCS about 3 months and am loving it!. I did a Performance Driving Clinic at Buttonwillow about a month ago. It was my first experience on the track, and I've got to say -I'm hooked. So where does one start with AutoX? I'm in the L.A. area by the way.

Another question - what do all of you do about insurance for AutoX and track sessions?

Thanks!

There a select few insurance companies that will cover autox and driver education events. Most will not. Basically, if you can't afford to fix it if you break it, be very careful.

I am driving a 03' MCS in the SM class. I also have the Schroth harness and like being able to install and remove in less than a minute.

s in GS on stock tires (or is that tyres  ). I love the mini, and it is a blast to drive in autox. I am having a heck of a time with the stock tires. Also does anyone else have the problem of always pulling the shift **** off when shifting?

to answer the thread topic, I'm in H-stock with a Cooper.
Falken for local/pavement events and Hoosier for concrete/national events.
