Any difference between getting a lodge versus a cabin? Thinking of changing my reservation if its not too late...

Lodge rooms are more like a standard hotel room. I was in a cabin and May with a friend and we found that all we did was sleep and shower there (always out driving), so I booked a lodge room for next year and November too.

Here's the latest on the Disc Golf Tourney. All skill levels, as it's random doubles! The entry fee is $5 a person, with all money going to charity, Blood:Water Mission, also where any residual from the $20 registration donations are going. There will be great prizes, from Grassroots Garage, Outmotoring.com, Detailers Paradise, and much more! It's gonna be a blast!

All pretty close together - certainly within staggering distance...

The cabins are spread out all over the place, so it depends. But everything is within walking distance or a quick drive if you don't want to walk.

True, but I've staggered for 2-3 miles before... and this isn't nearly that far...

Wow, thanks for putting so much effort into this. This is going to be great!

Also, I am working with DDM about getting some product up there. Installs will be between the respective individuals. I can install, but as most of you know, it does take a good bit of time. Since this is not going to a "formal" vendor situation, I think it may work better to be a pre-order/pick-up type thing. I'll try and bring extras so that you can see/feel before you buy, but I will be in my MINI, with another person, clothes, etc., so it will only be a few, ya know?

I have a set of discs too and would be willing to let someone use them if I'm tied up on other things.

OK, here's the first patch proof. Please let me know what you think. The design is by COOPERation, same as the small design that will be on the front of the shirt.

Jason....are there still places available that weekend to stay? It will probably just be me, so I'll probably want to go ahead and get a room.

There are rooms left. Remember when you call to tell them you are with the MSSD, and you want to join the Dragonslayers Club and get the discount! Gald you're going to join us!

I'm confident you can find someone to bunk with if necessary

Should I get this?

http://www.discgolfstore.com/Millenn...et-p-7683.html

This will be like the gaming thing for me, never done it, probably suck but have fun anyway, don't want to invest a lot...

**********************

The patches look awesome!

**********************

Jason, am I supposed to pony up the cash "now" or when we get there? No big deal, just forgot to ask...

My local Wal Mart has a pretty good selection of flying discs made for Frisbee Golf. They have small ones for putting, etc... I don't remember seeing them there before now. But maybe it's because I was really looking for them until now.

Dave, that's a good starter set for sure. And you can "pony" up the cash whenever you can! PM me your number, and we'll set up a practice round at Reedy Creek!

Yes, they do. Their cancellation policy is a little extreme.

Heard over the weekend that the patrols have stepped up and are harrassing just about everyone who drives the Dragon currently - hopefully by Nov. things will settle down.

Agreed.

However, they do allow you to transfer your reservation to someone else if you can find someone who wants it. I did it once and they weren't amazingily thrilled with it, but did it anyway.

As for the patrols, I'll say again... if it keeps up until we're there, I'll do all of my driving on the gorgeous NC roads that are in the area and do all of my dining, shopping, gas buying in NC as well. I'll certainly go up to the Crossroads to have a tasty Dragon burger and show my support for them but I won't give a state any of my tourist dollars if they are going ot harass me.
