Damn, you should see some of my pairs of boxers. I don't think I own a plain pair...

They have shamrocks with pink background, or liqour, or rulers(that comes in handy ), coke, etc...

I love the t-shirt design!

I think we're going to head up that weekend as well. I may not have a MINI now, but I owned two of them and still really enjoy them. It will be nice to spend a weekend in the mountains with some great cars.

Though I really hope things gets better on the roads up there. It's awful right now

People have been doing that, and I honestly think it will die down. They just can't deal with this much negative publicity without realizing the tourism dollars they are missing out of, and at the end of the day, that's ALL these politicians care about!

Info about the group

I am a new mini owner and I was considering coming to the fall dragon run. I have one fairly personal question I would like to ask. What is the age range of the folks going?

It would seem that TN finest have some problems or their own!

Think your wife or daughter would be safe if stopped alone?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QA33zFHeXAs

At the end of the video it says that "this is the third time cops raped women on videotape during traffic stops in Lebanon Tennessee..."

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Barbie Cummings doesn't see what the fuss is about. Tennessee Highway Patrol suspended one of its troopers with pay this month while it investigates the Knoxville-based **** star's online claims that the trooper had oral sex with her during a traffic stop in Middle Tennessee. Cummings, who gives her age as 21, lives in Knoxville and visits Los Angeles about once a month to star in adult movies and on Web sites. She keeps a blog that details her work and sex life, complete with photos and video clips. That blog drew the THP's attention - and led to the suspension of Trooper James Randy Moss, who's worked for the agency since 1997 - after a May 7 entry described a traffic stop near Lebanon that took a surprise turn. A visit to a secluded spot followed, she said, with photos and video shot by the trooper. Cummings met with THP investigators a little more than a week ago and said she turned over the photos and video. Over 46,000 downloads

Hi! Welcome to the community! We would love for you to come, and once you go, you will understand why we want to go twice a year! No problem, but the age range for people going is all over the map, as it is for most MINI events. The joy of the MINI community is that it appeals to all ages, and brings people of all walks of life together. With that being said, I am 33, my wife is 27. I know of people going that are in their late 40's.

Yep - I think you'll find mid-twenties through fifties (and maybe sixties) - and maybe even some younger than mid-twenties. A very diverse group with one thing in common...

Which is part of the fun - we always find cool things to talk about - and end up with some very unlikely friendships... and learn by associating with demographics who otherwise wouldn't be in our social circle...

It's all good.

I will say this. Alot of the people I meet through the MINI events and gatherings, I never would have hung out with before. But, upon meeting them, I have made some great friends I enjoy being around on a regular basis! And it is cool that it's people of all ages, and all walks of life!

I'm 19, dad is 51. Hope you old folks can keep up

Seriously though I think we can all come together on our love of driving the mini, plus I get a kick out of seeing someone older who at that age should be in a 4-door sedan or minivan get into a modded out english sports car. I can't recall ever seeing this "mania" anywhere else except maybe with classic hot rods

I am tired of the heat and the flat, straight roads in Tampa Bay. So I'm planning to join all of you. It will be a quick trip but well worth it for me.

HEY!

I resemble that remark / stereotype...
"At that age..."
Junior, you just wait... it's a stunning thing when you ARE "that age"...

Well there is nothing here that hasn't already been said or any points that havn't been made... simply put... The MINI is a common bond we all share which not only bridges all walks of life from generation to sex, class, race, and others... Same goes with "bikers" as they have that common ground. You ride a MINI, your family !!! You are automatically part of a larger family as a brothern or sister'n. It even bridges cultures as I was able to make some really great international friends from my time in Europe.

I've been going to car events for years and have hung out with tons of people who have kids or even grandkids my age and I've learned that we really are all the same. As I get older as well, I see the true meaning behind "age is nothing but a number". The only thing that changes is what kind of toys you can afford. I love cars as much as I did when I was 15 years old and it has never changed. When I'm 60, I'll still love cars and I'll still be driving sporty ones.

You may look different, you may have more resposibilities, but you're still the same person inside. Trust me, 50 or 60 year olds can be just as crazy as 20 year olds. Sometimes more so becuase with age, comes wisdom and knowing how to get away with more stuff
